The Trenton Hopper is literally a boat out of water. Trenton, New Jersey is home to the New Jersey State Museum. The New Jersey State Museum’s Fine Arts Collection primarily focuses on New Jersey artists. However, it has a sprinkling of other works of art for comparative purposes. Included in this sample is, of course, the Trenton Hopper, Boat and Cliff (1929).

A string of quaint towns, untouched by time and development, dot the Gulf Coast of Florida. We stop for a quick salad and coffee at a chain café in a glitzy mall in Destin before heading out on Scenic Route 30A. The road takes us on a slow, two-lane ride. We hit resorts called Water Color and seaside towns called Seaside.
Sedona Stress
I’m supposed to be feeling the balancing of my chakras, the channeling of four vortexes of energy through my solar plexus.
Instead, I’m feeling burnt coffee on my tongue, hot sun on my neck and the snarl of RV’s backed up along Route 89-A through Sedona.
